
BRIEF HISTORY
Sanjo Convent Senior Secondary School (CBSE), Gondpipri,Chandrapur (MH) is run by CSC (Congregation of Sisters of Charity ) Education society after the guidance and inspiration from its founder, Servant of God, Fr. A. J. Ukken.
The Congregation of Sisters of Charity has its aim the offering of a holocaust on the alter of self-sacrifice to see Christ in the poor and the poor in christ by making our own life full of kindness and compassion and a life that is humble and meek.This would create in us a service as low as becoming a servant and love as high as dying on the cross.Such love and service enable us to become one with Christ.
It was the spirit of service full of kindness and compassion overflowing from the intense love of God to Rev. Fr. A. J. Ukken, a venerable and dynamic priest of the Diocese of Trichur, kerala, that planted the Congregation of Sisters of Charity. Right from the days of its start, founder Fr. A. J. Ukken has taken necessary steps in the field of education, the elementary education especially for the poor and down trodden of the society. It’s a Christian minority School and has contributed a great deal since 1998 in meeting the education needs of the children especially of Gondpipri.Together with the academic excellence the commendable activities carried out by the institution has indeed kept good standards to the complete satisfaction of the students, their parents, teachers and non-teaching staffs. At present the Sanjo convent school is the fruit of the dedicated yeomen service of the management and staff. It has set a record of scholastic and co-scholastic excellence, discipline, and value-based education.
To increase the competitiveness among the students of modern era, CSC Educational Society started CBSE syllabus from the year 2010-11 right from the pre-primary level to +2 stage. The reformed products of Sanjo Convent Senior Secondary School, yes, the ‘SANJOVIANS’ will confidently tread on the true path of CHARITY, SACRIFICE and SERVICE.
CSC EDUCATION POILCY STATEMENT
We, the Congregation of the Sisters of Chariy, after the guidance and inspiration of our founder, Servant of God, Fr. A. J. Ukken, accept by educating the child to become God’s children with responsibility, patriotism, religious harmony, universal brotherhood and the power of discernment, we have to give them the training to get incorporated in the community in which they live.
Through education, we give training for the growth of truth and love in the people to foster moral values with a right conscience embracing them personally.
The ultimate aim of our educational institution is to mould the student to have a perfect mindset and mind formation which inturn to become a morally upright personality to face the challenges of the modern society along with its cultural heritage.
Our institution is open to all students irrespective of caste and creed. Being administered and established by Christain community will have the preference in the fullness and willingness of Christ by living and educating the needy in terms of justice and real holiness.
In the educational field, what we have to take care of is the welfare of the needy who have not received even elementary education. For the fulfillment of this, we, The CSC Education Society whole heartedly invite students, parents, teaching and non-teaching staffs to be apart of our Charism.

THE MAIN OBJECTIVES

SCHOOL HOURS
Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 2.30pm
Saturday: 8.30am to 12.30 am
The school gates will close at 8.20 a.m. Late comers will not be allowed to attend the class.
OFFICE HOURS
The school office remains open on all working days from 08.30 am to 02.30 pm.
No School business will be transacted after school hours and on school holidays.
Parents can meet the principal between 9.00 am and 10.00 am-on all working days except on Saturdays. And for any other time slot, a prior appointment needs to be fixed.
Fee Counter Timing: 8.30 am to 02.30 pm
Meeting with the teachers can only be fixed with prior appointment with the Principal after the school hours on working days.
SCHOOL DIARY
1. The school diary is to be kept with utmost care and brought to school every day. No page from it should be destroyed or smudged.
2. The personal memo pages should be carefully filled in by the parents in the beginning of the academic session.
3. Students must bring to the notice of their parents/ guardians any communication/notes given by the teacher and get it countersigned. Parents prompt attention to those remarks is very essential. Entries by parents/guardians should also be shown to the teachers.
4. Parents are expected to check their children’s school diary every day and take care that the lessons and home works assigned are completed.
